PORTAL 2
Aah Portal 2, our latest celebrity in gaming... This game has impressed us all with it's cool voice acting and characters, its fiendish yet incredibly satisfying physics puzzles that leave you feeling clever and it's interesting storyline - this one's a hit.
Potal, as you may know, started out as an add-on for the gaming package The Orange Box and was just a gaming experiment by a few people in Valve, but when it became much more popular than previously imagined, they released Portal 2 and it was awesome.
Although Portal 2 differs from the first as it is now equipped with decent graphics, a storyline, and a nice 2 player mode - the structure is basically the same: you make your way throughtest chambers designed to be completed with a gun that creates portals where you shoot it that can be used in a number of intelligent manners to access the exit in each chamber, these chambers get progressively harder as the game goes on, but you also get more used to them, until finally you feel like a genius solving them.
What also makes this game shine is the 2 player co-op which can be great fun with a friend who's also into it, however, trouble can appear if this person isn't quite as good at it or is less experienced, and you end up getting intoscenarios such as: "Just press the f***ing button, Jesus christ!", "Put a portal there, no not there, there!" and "Stop falling off the goddamn ledges!!!". Still, if you can overcome these slight irritances then youre left with a game that is fun, funny and f***ing cool.
